ARASENE

I am a mom who loves reading, writing, sewing, gardening and spending quality time with family and friends, as well as all things interior design and decorating.  I also enjoy researching my family’s history and genealogy.  I am a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Miami.  I currently work from my home in North Carolina as a tax accounting professional for a large publicly owned corporation.

I have lived in North Carolina for most of my life, only recently returning to my home town with my son, Antonio.  I lived in Germany as a young child, and in Florida during and after graduate school.  I have traveled throughout the United States to California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. 

Outside of the United States, I have traveled to the Bahamas, Canada, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.  All the places I have been have had an impact on my life. Of all the places I have been, Germany was the most life changing.  The only place I have been that feels like home is North Carolina.  The home of my ancestors.
 
Arasene is a creative way for me to share my experiences, explore topics of interest, and to inform.  My hope is that the stories I create will have a positive impact on the lives of those who read them.​
